AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 19)
Aquarius is the eleventh of the Zodiac signs. The water carrier or bearer is an air element and ruled by the planet Uranus. Aquarius is a Babylonian name. In Greek mythology, Ganymede (Aquarius) was a beautiful boy chosen by Zeus himself to be the cupbearer of the Greek gods. Some mythologists say that the boy was so beautiful that even Zeus fell in love with the young boy.
We are now in the Dawn of the Age of Aquarius. According to astrologers, the sign is deemed to be the “leader” of all the Zodiac signs. Aquarians are unusual and quite mysterious. The non-conformist and highly innovative Uranus often rule them. They are quite eccentric and are often perceived as marching to the beat of their drum. However, their eccentricity makes them unique. They are clever, independent, friendly and inventive. They are visionaries who have strong political, social and environmental beliefs. They are unconventional, quite rebellious, sarcastic and very stubborn.
